We are delighted to announce that David Nott OBE (BSc, 1979) will be delivering the sixth instalment in the Andrew Carnegie Lecture series.

On Tuesday 8 October, Mr Nott will join us at the University to deliver a lecture entitled 'Leaving a legacy in War Zones'. This is a special opportunity to hear from a leading war-zone surgeon and founder of the David Nott Foundation. Mr Nott received an OBE for his work in war regions and set up a charity to fund the training of surgeons in areas of conflict.

The event is open to all and free to attend, however as we expect this event to be popular registration is required. We hope that you will be able to join us for what promises to be an informative and enjoyable experience.  During this event we will also unveil portraits of key supporters of the University, the late Sir Christopher Booth and Lady Singleton Booth.
